Frank Joseph Casaus, 48, owner of "Tile with a Smile" shop, passed away unexpectedly on May 22, 2005. A lifetime Puebloan, Frank was born May 9, 1957. He graduated from South High School in 1975. Frank was the kind of person that if you needed a favor, he was there to help. Frank was a wonderful son, brother and godfather to his two nieces. He was an expert carpet and tile layer and took special pride in his work. He was very proud of an award he received recently from the nationwide Floor & Window Coverings Search of Excellence program. Taking care of his mother always was foremost on his mind. Preceded in death by sister, Rosie Moronez; brother-in-law, David Gibbs. He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Jose and Emma (Montez) Casaus; siblings, Bennie Casaus, MaryAnn (Ray) Lopez, Lorranne (David) Gibbs; grandmothers, Rafelita Casaus, Mary Vaca; goddaughters, Elizabeth Moronez, Ashlee Gibbs; special friends, Anthony and Lori Estrada, Woody MacFarlane, Jim Muniz; Frank's crew, Paul, Delfino and Leo Trujillo, Tim Crisler and Derrick Pinz; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Visitation, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Friday, Holy Family Catholic Church, with the Rev. Paul Montez OSB, as celebrant. Cremation to follow. Family at 169 Cornell Circle and 40 Solar Drive, also at Holy Family Hall following the Mass.
