The widow of Rev. Dr. Hunsdon Cary Jr., "Bobbie" was a daughter of the late Edward and Nora Bruff Plummer.

She was also preceded in death by her two brothers and sister. She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, her daughter and son-in-law, as well as five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A devoted wife and mother, she lovingly cared for her family as well as her husband's congregations. Bobbie was a source of friendship and wise counsel to people of all ages, and she delighted in the small things in life.

A lover of libraries and bookstores, she was a lifelong learner and a voracious reader. She also enjoyed birds and gardens, and a good, brisk walk in just about any weather.

Bobbie lived in Youngstown, OH when her husband was rector at St. John’s Episcopal Church. She also resided in Palm Beach, when her husband was rector of The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea; she later resided in West Palm Beach.

Bobbie was the last of a generation in her family. She was amazed often expressed amazement and delight at her longevity. She never lost her youthful outlook or her optimism.
