Troy Angela (Demaree) Carter, 55, of Otisco Indiana, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at her home (in her cabin) with her loving husband and his family by her side. Troy was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy in 1979 and went on to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University in 1983. She loved following the weather and coined the phrase “B.O.T.S” for Bring on the snow! Troy found beauty in the outdoors and its wildlife. She was an incredible amateur photographer and well known for capturing great “Moments in Pictures”. She loved wolves, watching birds and especially found comfort in her love of cats. Troy loved her flowers and has left a yard full of them to bloom for those she left behind. She was a retired account manager for Assured Partners/ Neace Lukens. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary at the American Legion, Bonnie Sloan Post 28 in New Albany and was also an Honorable Kentucky Colonel. Lastly she was a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcats Basketball.

Troy is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Robert M. “Rob” Carter; father, Stanley R. Demaree III; mother, Nancy (Parson) Demaree; brother, Stanley R. “Demi” Demaree IV; and sister, Holly Brown.
