Carol Hibben “Curly” Carter, 69, of Boise, died Thursday, April 27, 1989 in a Boise hospital.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 1 at Summers Funeral Home, Boise.
Mr. Carter was born Nov. 6, 1919 at Fountain, Colo., a son of Frances H. and Randolph D. Carter. He was educated in the Boise schools. During World War II, he served in the 17th Air Depot group. He married Marie Bryant on Sept. 28, 1941.
Mr. Carter was a journeyman plumber, and retired from CPM Mechanical. He was a member of Plumbers and Fitters Union Local #296.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jon Di Palma; a daughter, Toni Hermann; three grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, and Jerred; a sister and brother-in-law, Annie and James Berry; a brother and sister-in-law, Matt and Jenny Carter; a sister-in-law, Hesper Carter; his mother, Frances Carter; and a nephew and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, R.D.
