Mrs. Ruth Carroll Ahrens, 96, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Surviving are her son, Gail Carroll Moore and wife Margaret; two grandsons, Don and wife Alva Moore and David and wife Tara Moore; four great-grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth, Daniel Gail, Seth Allen and Rosy Ann Moore; two brothers, Robert Carroll and Pete Carroll and wife Myrtle; and a sister-in-law, Janie Carroll Sizemore and husband Max. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at the Carroll Family Cemetery in King, with Pastor Randy Roberts officiating. Arrangements are by Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road.
