Rev. Bruner Lee, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated at the rites held Monday afternoon in the Smith Chapel for Walter L. Carroll, 74, who died Saturday afternoon in the Peterson Hospital. Interment was in the Garden of Memories.
A native of Missouri, he had been a resident of Kerrville for the last five years, making his home at 520 Quinlan Street. He had operated a cafe in Pettus before coming here and before that he had operated a restaurant in San Antonio.
He is survived by his wife of the home address; six children, none of whom live in Kerrville' two half-sisters and five half-brothers.
