Reggie Carroll, 73, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Monday, January 22, 2024, at her residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, November 23, 1950, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late James Willard Barham and the late Margaret Louise Epperson Barham. Mrs. Carroll was a homemaker and member of Our Little Country Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carroll will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 26, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home. Officiating the service will be Bro. Royce McGuire. Interment will follow at Church Grove Cemetery, Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mrs. Carroll will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 on Thursday, January 25, 2024 and on Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty-three years, Carlton Carroll of Newbern, Tennessee; two daughters, Carla Childress (Eddy) of Newbern, Tennessee and Jennifer Butler (Brian) of Newbern, Tennessee, one brother, Ronnie Barham (Susie) of Paris, Tennessee, four sisters, Margaret Castellaw (Otha) of Alamo, Tennessee, Alice Dunevant of Newbern, Tennessee, Linda Ennis of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Marilyn McLean (Eugene)of Dyersburg, Tennessee; she was "Nana" to her six grandchildren, Steven "Buster" Hollis (Emily), Courtney Hollis (Billy), Lain Wilson (Quoi), Jacub Hinson (Carlie), Carley Hinson (Tyler), and Jonathan Putman and eight great-grandchildren, Mia Hollis, Shelby Baggett, Rebekah Hollis, Landon Hollis, Caiden Hall, Kash Hinson, Maisyn Wilson and Asher Ligons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Melanie Dawn Carroll, one brother, James Barham, and one sister, Joyce Davis.
Honoring Mrs. Carroll as pallbearers will be Ronnie Barham, Steven "Buster" Hollis, Jacub Hinson, Lain Wilson, Jonathan Putman, Eddy Childress. Honorary pallbearers will be Mia Hollis, Shelby Baggett, Rebekah Hollis, Landon Hollis, Caiden Hall Kash Hinson, Maisyn Wilson, Asher Ligons. Brian Butler, Kyle Childress, Billy Fannin, Bo Butler and Brier Butler.
