She was born Feb. 6, 1938 in Danville, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Parzatka) Juris, both deceased. She married Frank Carroll on July 3, 1965 in Danville. He will miss her dearly.
Others who will miss her include her two sons, Joseph (Alice) Carroll and John Carroll; three daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Rome, Donna (Brad) Carlton and Janet (Michael) Greene; nine grandchildren; soon-to-be-born first great-grandchild due in June; two brothers, Gregory (Patricia) Juris and Ronald (Donna) Juris, as well as many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Sally graduated from Lourdes High School in Chicago and cosmetology School in Chicago as well. She owned Sal's Curl Harbor which she started in Chicago and moved to Danville. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, St. Mary's Altar and Rosary Society, and a member of the Westville American Legion Post 51 Auxiliary.
In her spare time, Sally enjoyed gardening; she bought and sold collectibles and antiques and enjoyed visiting casinos, OTB and horse races. She cherished her 30 years of vacations spent with her family at Indiana Beach. She loved attending all of her grandkids' events and activities. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
