Rosetta Carroll, 78, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009 at her residence.

She was a retired employee of Heckethorn Manufacturing after 30 years and a member of Bradford Church of Jesus Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Curry Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Burnine and Bro. Tim Nichols officiating. Burial will be in McCullough's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors at 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include four daughters, Bobbie Sue Morrow of Yorkville, Maxine McCaig and Patricia Moore, both of Dyersburg and Mary Baggett of Halls; two sons, Carlton Carroll of Newbern and Billy Joe Carroll of Dyer; a sister, Nellie Joe Brown of Frederick Town, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Carroll; a son, James Arthur Carroll; her parents, Joseph Peter Conder and Dovie Marie Allen Conder; a sister, Pearl Whitehead; three brothers, J.C. Conder, John Luther Conder and James Edward Conder; and a granddaughter, Melanie Dawn Carroll.

Pallbearers will be Danny Fowlkes, Dan Fowlkes, Randy Brooks, Tim Nichols, Larry Winters, Jerry Hutcherson, Joe Smith and James Carroll.

The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Fund, P.O. Box 1002, Dyersburg, TN 38025-1002.
