CARRASCO

Services for Concepcion "Chon" Guzman Carrasco, 61, 704 Alvarado St., are pending with West Funeral Home. He died today at the local hospital.

He was born in Loving and was a retired construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Anita; three sons, Tommy, Orlando and Concepcion Carrasco Jr.; five daughters, Ida Mae Carrasco, Belinda Carrasco, Rose Ann Herrerra, Edwina Rico and Elda Gonzales; his mother, Rebecca Carrasco; two brothers, Cruz and Manuel Carrasco; and two sisters, Sabina Clayton and Socorro Subia, all of Carlsbad; one half-sister, Isabel Nieves, El Paso; and five grandchildren.

CARRASCO

A rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. in West Funeral Home Chapel for Concepcion "Chon" Carrasco, 61, 704 Alvardo St. He died Monday at his home.

Mass will be said Thursday at 10 a.m. at San Jose Mission with the Rev. Alcuin Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paulo Olivas, Ramon Olivas, Ray Anaya, Jesus Olivas, Cirildo Ramirez and Hector Carrasco.
