She lived in Topeka all her life and dedicated all she was to her family. She was a member of Oakland Presbyterian Church from birth. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, Nascar and was a big KU fan. But of all those things, her love for her family was the center of her being.
She was married to Harry Carr on June 7th, they were happily married for 45 years.They have three daughters, Stacey (Todd), Shelley (Tony), and Shawna (Gary). They have eight grandchildren, Ashlee (Zack), Brandon (Andrea), Chase (Megan) and Drew, Niran (Kendra), Hailey, Tanner and Connor. They have two great grandchildren, Thomas and Caroline, and four step grandchildren, Channing, Zerah, Britain and Destrie.
She has two brothers, the late Harold Jessop (Janet) and Kenny Jessop (Barbara), her best friend, Linda Kuebler and many nieces and nephews who were all dear to her heart.
The family will be accepting friends with a gathering in celebration of her life at Oakland Presbyterian Church located at 2810 Thomas, Topeka Kansas on Saturday February 9th at 11:00. She was cremated and her family buried her at Mount Hope Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Oakland Presbyterian Church or Grace Hospice in lieu of flowers.
