Mrs. Caldwell was born March 4, 1937 in Gaston County to the late Fred Carpenter and the late Ruby Lee Wooten. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel A.Caldwell, four sisters and two brothers.
Lou Ellen enjoyed traveling and especially going to the mountains.
