Ezekiel Carnahan moved with his parents to Meade County, Kentucky when the Civil War broke out. Ezekiel enlisted in Company C, 11th Kentucky Cavalry.
Ezekiel Carnahan married Miss Mary C. Jenkins on 11 May 1865 at Meade County, Kentucky.
Ezekiel Carnahan died at the home of his son-in-law, Billy George Woods of Gooseneck Bend of heart failure. He was 62 years old. "Uncle Zeke" was an old confederate soldier. Mr. Carnahan was a Baptist and a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Ezekiel was a teamster and employee for the Graham Brothers Salt Works in 1869.
Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Billy George Woods.
