He was born August 21, 1952 in Odessa, Texas to Hollis Quentin and Telova Mae Flournoy Carman. He attended the University of Houston and the University of California San Luis Obispo. He was a Doctor of Psychiatry, and was previously the Administrator of Elkhart Oaks Nursing Home, and currently Administrator of Colonial Pine Nursing Home in Zavalla. Mr. Carman was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by brothers, Billy Carman and wife Julie of Waterford, MI, and Larry Carman and wife Susan of Seabrook, Texas; and nephew, John Carman of Los Angeles, California.
