CARL ADOLPH "ADE" CARLSON was the son of ELISE "ALICE" DOMINIKUSDOTTIR STJERN(1881–1964) of Norway and JOHAN "JOHN" ADOLPH CARLSON (1880–1943) of Sweden.

Military: Army Air Force, 762nd. Army Air Force, BU 132nd. AACSS. Service from 8 July 1943 to 1 April 1946. Rank: Corporal.

ADE worked as a radio announcer in Duluth, MN at WABC AM. He later worked in Alaska for radio KHAR south of Anchorage. His death occurred when the station he was broadcasting from exploded one night while he was on the air. This may have been a propane explosion.
