Annie Mary Lovina Carl, wife of George Carl, aged 66 years, 6 months and 24 days, died at her residence at Monterey on Thursday. She was a member of Pioneer Grange 1777 of Topton and of the Lutheran faith of Maxatawny church. She was a daughter of the late William Behm and wife Susanna, nee Schwoyer. She is survived by her husband, two sons, William of Lyons and Paul of Monterey; a daughter, Mrs. Francis Herber of Hamburg; three grandchildren; two brothers, Stanley of Topton and Mahlon of Mertztown R. 1, and two sisters, Mrs. George Weaknecht of Topton and Mrs. Solon Heffner of Kutztown. Services at the Schofer funeral home, Topton, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with further services in the Maxatawny church, the Revs. Luther Schlenker and Willson Hartzell officiating. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
