CARILLI Dominic (Nick) Joseph Carilli, 88, born August 2, 1926, (the youngest of 7) in Hartford, CT, to Guisseppe and Sebastiana Di Pietro Carilli, passed away February 16, 2015 in Jacksonville, Florida. Nick proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWll. In addition, Nick retired from the Hartford Fire Department as well as U.S.G. Corp Jax,Jacksonville, FL. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, 8 Children, and numerous Grands, Great-Grands and Nieces and Nephews. The Carilli family will receive friends in the chapel of the funeral home from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Christ The King Catholic Church, 742 Arlington Expressway, Jacksonville, Florida 32211, with Father Thanh Nguyen officiating. A Graveside Blessing will immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211, with military honors from the United States Coast Guard, in recognition of Dominic Joseph Carilli s service to our grateful nation. In lieu of flowers, donations should be sent in Nick s memory to American Diabetes Association or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211
