Age 84, of Wilmington, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012. She was the wife of the late Alfonse Capodanno, who passed away on January 5, 2012.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John Walter and Alice Engel Kroeger.

Alice graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked for the State of Delaware as a peer support teacher for the visually impaired and served on the Governor's Council for the Blind in Delaware.

She enjoyed music, listening to the radio, and reading Braille publications. Alice and her husband participated in many activities with the Delaware Association for the Blind.

Alice will be dearly missed by her brother, Walter Kroeger of Washington DC and her adopted daughter, Karen Studer of Wilmington.

Burial will be private at Gracelawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alice's memory to the Delaware Association for the Blind.
