AUDREY C. APPLEYARD, 84, of MIDDLETOWN, died at home. She was a resident of Middletown, previously living in Tinton Falls. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Shrewsbury where she was an active volunteer. She was a devoted wife of 49 years to her late husband, Glenn Appleyard Sr., who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Louise Cano; a son, Bruce Appleyard, in 2002; and a daughter, Barbara Russek, in 1992. Surviving are a son, a daughter, and seven grandchildren.
