Mrs. Myrtle Campbell Barrett, age 97, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Mrs. Barrett was born on August 11, 1912 in Polk County to her parents, the late Isom & Lula Mae Grogan Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe E. Barrett, her brothers, Winfred Campbell & Leonard Campbell, her sister, Sara Campbell Lambert and a grandson, Douglas H. Barrett, Jr. Mrs. Barrett was a member of the Worldview Baptist Church of Cedartown and was retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

She is survived by her son & daughter in law, Doug & Carolyn Barrett, her daughter & son in law, Beth & Andrew Riggsbee, her grandchildren, Andrew Riggsbee IV, Allison Riggsbee Moran & Andra B. Maulding, nine great grandchildren, nieces & nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Campbell Barrett will be conducted on Sunday, April 25, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Conner officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at the Litesey Funeral Home. The following Gentlemen have been asked to serve as Pallbearers: Clint Ellenburg, Tim Moran, Jimmy Pope, Andrew Riggsbee,IV Revenel "Boots" Smith & Jerry Frye. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Hunter Douglas Barrett, Andrew Ralph Riggsbee, V, Declan Barrett Riggsbee & Zachary Scott Moran.
