Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Pat Campbell

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Daves-Campbell were held in the Assembly of the God church in Coldwater last Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and were in charge of the pastor, Rev. I. D. Rayburn.
Mrs. Martha Zerby and Mrs. Ferrel Guizlo sang "Sometime and Somewhere" and "Just Inside the Eastern Gate," accompanied on the piano by Mrs. Mary Ann Purcell.

The active pallbearers were J. W. Brewer, Virgil McIntyre, Cecil Wilson, Raymond Lohrding, Walter Harness and Eddie Metzger and the honorary pallbearers were H. S. Schultz, Jack Wilkerson, Roy Oller, Albert Oller, John Moody and Jim Herd. Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery near Coldwater.

Ruby Daves-Campbell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Daves, was born at Noble, Mo., November 15, 1900 and departed this life October 23, 1952, in Comanche County hospital, Coldwater, Kansas, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 23 days.

Ruby came to Kansas with her parents when she was 10 years of age and finished the grade schools in Comanche county. She attended high school in El Paso, Texas.

On July 23, 1931, she was united in marriage with James P. Campbell at Buffalo, Okla. To this union was born one son, James Patrick III.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her father on April 18, 1952. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, James P. Campbell and son Jimmie and her mother, Mrs. L. N. Daves, all of Coldwater, and by many relatives and a host of friends.

Before answering death's call she made peace with her Maker. She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter, always kind and thoughtful of others and always cheerful. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Burial was in Crown Hill cemetery near Coldwater.
