She is survived by her mother, Flossie M. Campbell of Jacksonville; a sister, Imogene L. (husband, Ron) Helm of Shelbyville, Indiana; two nephews, Wesley S. (wife, Autumn) Helm of Shelbyville, Indiana and MSG. Berkely C. (wife, Kathy) Helm, of Fort Bragg, NC; two great-nieces, MacKenzie M. Helm and Kelsey M. Helm; and two great-nephews, Davis K. Helm, and Koen P. Helm. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Marine Campbell.
Geneva graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1960 and Flamingo Beauty School in Jacksonville in 1961, and Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri in 1965. She majored in English and Social Studies in Education and taught elementary junior high and high school for a number of years. She worked at Hertzberg- New Method Book Bindery during the summer while attending college. She did graduate studies in Media Arts at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
She was married to David L. Nimphie in Jacksonville, on August 7, 1965, until July 20, 1988. Geneva enjoyed sending cards, writing letters and making others happy. Her favorite book was the Bible that she read everyday, with devotions. She was an active member of Jacksonville First Assembly of God Church. Her hobbies were photography, traveling, and the computer.
Services were entrusted to Williamson Funeral Home of Jacksonville, Illinois.
