She is survived by her husband, Billy; three sons, Neal Lawhorne and his wife, Vicky of Charlottesville, Rodney Lawhorne and his wife, Beverly of North Garden, and Alfred Lawhorne; one granddaughter, Kristin DeFay; and one great-granddaughter, Sydney DeFay.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 26, 2017, at 12 p.m.at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville, with a burial to follow at Culpeper National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, May 25, 2017,from 6 until 8 p.m.
