Mrs. Campbell was a secretary at Franklin & Marshall College from 1964 to 1970. From 1939 to 1942, she was a secretary at Armstrong World Industries.
A 1934 graduate of the former Stevens High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in 1938 from Wilson College. She also attended the former Lancaster Business College.
She volunteered extensively at Lancaster General Hospital during the mid-1980s.
She was a member of Church of the Apostles United Church of Christ, Wilson College Club and the weekly prayer group at Homestead Village.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Irene D. Smeltz Coulter.
Her husband, Howard E. Campbell, died in 1990.
Surviving are two sons, four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a great- granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William S. Coulter.
