Mrs. Brittain Campbell, 73, moved to Texas from Oklahoma in 1906.

Miss Goldie Jones married Brittain Campbell on 18 February 1906 at Marietta, Oklahoma. The couple moved to Young County, where they owned / operated a grocery store. They moved to Hereford in 1936 and Breckenridge in 1941.

She was a member of the Shelton Avenue Baptist Church.

Survived by her husband; three sons - Elon, Ernest and Everett Campbell; five daughters - Mrs. Claudia Stokes, Mrs. Pearl Dunnam, Mrs. Odessa Painter, Mrs. Montie Hill, Mrs. Evelyn Galloway; two brothers - O.R. and L.H. Jones, one half-sister - Mrs. Mina Mae Simpson; 31 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.
