Eva J. Painter Campbell, 80, formerly of Greenbrier, died Sept. 6, 2007, in Parsons after an extended illness

Funeral services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Dignity Hall with Don Watson officiating.

Interment followed in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.

Mrs. Campbell was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Nashville. She worked for many years in the dietary department of Madison Hospital and Tennessee Christian Medical Center. Her ever-joyful smile will be missed by family and friends alike.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, James T. Campbell Sr.; son, James T. (Tommy) Campbell Jr.; and siblings, Richard (Jack) Painter, James Robert Painter, Bennie Painter and Lorene Layne.

She is survived by her six children, Eva (Steve) Weesner, Nellie Killion, Joyce (Don) Gray, Janie (Alan) Craig, Danny (Gina) Campbell and Chester (Brenda) Campbell; grandchildren, Jeffrey Weesner, Timothy Weesner, Cory Gray, Chris Craig, Leslee Roddy, Danny Campbell Jr., Eric Campbell, David Campbell, Paul Campbell, Taylor Campbell and Lauren Campbell; great grandchildren, Conlan Weesner, Alexander Weesner, Cyerra Gray, Jackson Roddy and Austin Campbell; and siblings, Jesse (Cotton) Painter and Willie Painter.

Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements

Her parents were George Painter (1892-1976) and Eva Nevils Painter (1898-1982)
