Wanda Irene Bensted (nee Camp) of Deptford, on May 25, 2006, went to be with the Lord at her residence. Age 72. Wife of the late John T. Bensted. Born in Troy, Pa., Mrs. Bensted was married to John for 55 years and lived in Deptford for the past 43 years. She served as the 7th district committee women for several years in politics. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Westville. She is survived by her son John J. Bensted and his wife Mary of Magnolia, Laura L. Bensted of Deptford, Irene W. Conover and her husband David of Elmer, Thomas R. Bensted and his wife Lynne of El Cajon, Calif., Shannon L. Hiller and her husband William S. Hiller Jr. of Deptford, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing Saturday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford. Funeral service 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
