Dale had worked as a bus driver for the New Castle Transit Authority, and he retired from his job as a truck driver for J F Travers. He also had served his country as a member of the National Guard. Dale enjoyed air shows, dancing, and music.
Dale is survived by his children, Dale H. Cameron Jr. and wife Kelli, Judy Regna, and Russell Cameron and wife Betty, all of New Castle; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Patrick; sister, Charlotte Johnson; and brothers, Walter and George Cameron.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S Mill St. Services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00pm at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Dennis Bupp.
Interment will take place in Savannah Cemetery.
