Beulah Jean Calvin, age 91, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009 in Franklin. She was a former resident of Indianapolis. She was born on July 2, 1918 in Des Mones, Iowa to Walter D. Calvin and Hazel Walker Calvin. She is survived by one son, Ronald C. (Karen) Ellis of Birdseye, Indiana; grandchildren, Dawn (Justin) Ellis Poynter of Mooresville, Indiana; Christina (Glen) Ellis Dallmann of Decatur, Indiana; Michael T. (Janet) Ellis of Mooresville, Indiana and Daniel Ellis of Birdseye, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Brandon Knight; Danyell Trent; Tyler Ellis, Trevor Ellis, Sarah Wilkerson, Nevaeh Poynter and Drew Dallmann. She was preceded in passing by her parents. Beulah was a typist for many years, working with insurance companies all over the United States. She was an associate with Watkins Products for many years. Beulah was a Seamstress. She was a member of the Southport Chapter No, 442, Order of Eastern Star in Southport, Indiana. Rodney Walker will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus. Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home in Franklin is handling arrangements.
