FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR ANNIE CALLAHAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Callahan, 91, a former longtime resident of Texico, were conducted Saturday, Aug. 11, from Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis, with Rev. V. Ray Allen officiating.
Interment was in the Texico cemetery, under the direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
Mrs. Callahan died Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Southwest Osteopathic Hospital in Amarillo. She was born April 12, 1893 in Aroura, Tex.
She was a charter member of the Texico Assembly of God Church, and was married to Murray E. (Pat) Callahan in 1916 at Montague, Colo.
Survivors include three nephews, Melvin A. Erwin and Kenneth Murdick, both of Amarillo, and Bill E. Murdick of Joshua; one niece, Ruby Bailey of Floydada; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Pallbearers were David Erwin, Billy Murdick, Troy Murdick, Dewayne Murdick, Michael Murdick, Bryan Glenn, Chris Bohle, and James Slawson.
