Betty G. Berkeley, 55, of
Dixon died Jan. 14, 2007, in
Lee County Nursing and
Rehabilitation Center, Dixon.
Services will be at 10:30
a.m. Friday in Preston-
Schilling Funeral Home,
Dixon, with the Rev. Stan
Rodabaugh, pastor of Dixon
Church of the Brethren, officiating.
Burial will be at
Restland Cemetery, Mendota.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m.
Thursday in the funeral home
with family present 2-4 p.m.
and 6-8 p.m.
Mrs. Berkeley was born
April 3, 1951, in Mount
Vernon to James and Beulah
(Sledge) Caldwell. She was a
social worker for Lutheran
Social Services for 10 years
prior to her retirement in 2005.
Survivors are one son,
Donald Berkeley of Sterling;
one daughter, Laura (Edward)
Binkley of Dixon; her mother,
Beulah Caldwell of Mendota;
five grandchildren; one brother,
John (Christine) Caldwell
of Dover, Del.; and three sisters,
June Dixon and Joyce
(Jerry) Simkins, both of La
Salle, and Nellie (George)
Needs of Mendota.
She was preceded in death
by her father.
A memorial has been established
to K.S.B. Hospice.
