From the "Worcester Daily Spy," 31 Mar 1904:
William O. Caldwell, a compositor on the "Telegram" and formerly foreman of "The Spy" composing room, died yesterday afternoon at his home....
He was born in Worcester, the son of True and Eliza C. Caldwell.
He was aged 53 years and three months, and leaves three daughers, Helen L., M. Elizabeth and Ruth E., daughter(sic) of R. H. Clarke.
