Miss Ada Caldwell, 88, of Newnan, died Saturday, January 19, 2002, at her home.
Miss Caldwell was born Jan. 25, 1913, in Harris County. She was a retired secretary for General Motors.
A funeral was Monday, Jan. 21, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of McKoon Funeral Home in Newnan. Dr. Gene Tyre officiated, and burial was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Roscoe Road in Newnan. Serving as pallbearers were Frank Caldwell, West Caldwell, John Caldwell III, Bobby Caldwell Jr., Sonny Doss and Russ Moore.
The family was receiving visitors Monday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Surviving are her nephew, John Caldwell, Jr. of Newnan; six nephews, four nieces, 15 great nephews, nine great nieces, six great-great nephews, 10 great-great nieces, two great-great-great nephews, and three great-great-great nieces.
