TWO BOONE COUNTY SOLDIERS DIE
Relatives hear of deaths of Roy Easley and John F. Caldwell. Mrs. G.W. Easley of Easley, Boone County, has received official notification of the death of Private Roy Riggs Easley in France, October 24, as a result of wounds received in action.
Private John F. Caldwell of Browns died overseas, October 9, of pneumonia according to a telegram received by Hilt Stover. Private Caldwell was in the infantry.
