DELHI (Special) — Mrs. Jewel Pearl Caldwell, 72, died at her home in Crowville yesterday morning.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crockett Point Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Walker and the Rev. Doss Tipton officiating. The Rev. Billy Kirksey will assist along with the Rev. Lee Smith.

Interment will be in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Gay's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her husband, R. W. (Bob) Caldwell; 11 daughters, Mrs. Sarah Price of Oakland, Calif., Mrs. Bernice Warren of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Ovette Edwards of Del Rio, Tex., Mrs. Lessie Boyett of Winnsboro, Mrs. Ethel LaBorde, Mrs. Doris Jones and Mrs. Mattie Lou Dotson, all of Crowville, Mrs. Vonciel Hunter of Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Bernice Watkins of Carthage, Miss., Mrs. Bonnie Kennedy of Crowville and Mrs. Grace Morrow of Walnut Grove, Miss.

Five sons, S. D. Caldwell of Crowville, Jake Watkins of Crowville, Buck Caldwell of Monroe, Robert Caldwell of Ferriday and Otto Caldwell of Carthage, Miss.; a brother, J. C. Long of Philadelphia, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Lottie Pettis and Mrs. Ella Peoples both of Philadelphia, Miss., and Mrs. Gladys Pace of Collins, Miss.; fifty-nine grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include Dalton Caldwell, James Caldwell and Bobby Caldwell, Bobby Boyett, Robert Kennedy and Robert McKirksey.
