Mrs. Pearl D. Calder, 79, Spring Hill in Johnson County, died Tuesday at the Gardner Community Hospital. She was born in Kansas City and had lived in the Gardner and Eudora, Kan., areas most of her life. She was a member of the Caplin's Creek Methodist Church near Eudora. She leaves two sons, Eldon Calder, 335 N. Belmont, Kansas City, Kansas, and William E. Calder, Edgerton in Johnson County; a daughter, Mrs. Arvelda Smith, Spring Hill; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bruce Chapel. Gardner; burial in the Eudora cemetery.
