Born in Jersey City, she resided there before moving to the Port Reading section of Woodbridge Township 36 years ago.
Mrs. Calandriello was employed as a buyer’s assistant with Unishops in Jersey City for 15 years and then as accounts payable coordinator for Royal Foods in Woodbridge Township for 15 years before her retirement in 1994.
She was a communicant of Saint James Catholic Church in Woodbridge and belonged to the Rosary Society there; and was a member of Catholic Daughters, Court Mercedes #769, Woodbridge.
Mrs. Calandriello was predeceased by her husband, Carmine, 1994; two sisters, Mary and Margaret Conca; and a brother, Ralph Aloi.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Calandriello of Wayne, Angela Calandriello of Port Reading and Janet Firmench and her husband, Ralph, of Woodbridge; two sisters, Dolly Miceli of Brick, NJ and Lena Mastria of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Paul Huszar and his wife, Ann Marie, and Glen Huszar; three step grandchildren, Karl Firmenich and his wife, Gabriela, and Alex and Sam Firmenich; and two step great grandchildren, Ariana and Gabriel.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. from the Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, Woodbridge. A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Saint James Catholic Church, Woodbridge. Interment will be in Saint James Chapel Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodbridge Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad, 77 Queen Road, Iselin, NJ 08830
