Anthony Dale "Tony" Caison Sr., age 39, of Bolivia died Monday January 27, 2014 at SECU Hospice House, Brunswick Facility.

Tony was born in New Hanover County on October 14, 1974 and was the son of Judy Maggard Caison of Bolivia and the late Gene A. Caison Sr. He was a graduate of West Brunswick High School. He was a member of the football team #70 where today his trophy's and jersey are on display.

Tony was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a devoted servant to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and also his community. He was a career Law Enforcement Officer, serving with the Holden Beach Police Department and Shallotte Police Department and finding his home with the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office where he retired as Sergeant with the Detective Division. He also was a member of the Civietown Fire Department. Following his retirement Tony became very active with the Lockwood Folly Dixie Youth where he coached the Little Chiefs Football Team as well as Baseball and the girls Basketball team. He served as a Board Member and Vice-President with the Lockwood Folly Parks and Recreation. Tony was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan.

Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Shannon C. Caison; two sons, Michael Lee Caison, Anthony Dale Caison Jr.; two brothers, Gene Allen Caison Jr. and wife Renee of Supply, Greg Caison and wife Angel of Bolivia; three nephews, Rodney, Corey, Ryan; two nieces, Kristen and Danielle.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 1, 2014 at 1pm at the Brunswick Community College Odell Williamson Auditorium with Reverend Anthony Clemmons and Reverend Eddie Hill officiating.

Burial will follow in the Royal Oak Cemetery with Law Enforcement Honors by the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department and Fireman's Honors.

Pallbearers will be the Brunswick County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dewayne Kirby, Keith Smith, Bossy Clemmons, Jimmy St. George, William Powell, Ed Carter, members of the Brunswick County Sheriffs Office, Civietown Fire Department and the Lockwood Folly's Dixie Youth.
