PATRICIA NELL CAHILL of Missouri City, went to be with our Lord February 4, 2000 at 2:50 PM, while in the arms of her family. Her last 13-month battle with inflammatory breast cancer may have defeated her physically, but did not touch her spiritually. Her unwavering faith and strong spirit have forever engraved a mark in so many lives.

Patricia was born December 21, 1948 in Gilmer, Texas. At age five she moved to the Houston area and has been an active member of the Missouri City community for 25 years. Patricia went with full scholarship to ACU and transferred to University of Houston to pursue her desire to become a computer engineer. She was a well respected member of the Williams Company where she has been a Computer Analyst/Engineer for over 20 years. She was a devoted member of First Colony Church of Christ, as well as a consistently active leader in BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). Patricia was a leader in the community, and even more importantly, was involved in, and supportive of, all the school and extra curricular activities of her children. She never missed a play or sporting event, and was always there to cheer them on. She could not have been a better wife, mother or friend as witnessed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Patricia Cahill symbolized all that is good and always led by example! What an awesome woman! She will be missed indescribably by so many....our comfort is that we will be together again one day.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Clark. Patricia is survived by her husband John; daughter, Amber; and son, Bryan; mother, Juanell Steele Tullos and husband Jerry; father, Charles Steele and wife Jovita; sister, Debbie Edlen and husband Dave; mother and father-in-law, Arviline and Raymond Cahill; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and David Norsworthy; nieces and nephews Jessica and Josh Edlen, and Bridget Roth and John Norsworthy; along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends who were all special to her.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, February 06, 2000 in the Morrow Room of The Settegast-Kopf Co. at Sugar Creek (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, February 7, 2000 at First Colony Church of Christ, 3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with Mr. Ronnie Norman officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
