Doris Branin passed away suddenly Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at her home in Lumberton. She was 86.
Doris was born Aug. 11, 1928, in Lumberton to the late Oakley and Lillian Cahall.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, George Branin; a grandson, David Vaughan Jr.; and a great-granddaughter, Cassie Jones.
Doris is survived by her sister, Gladys Graser of Hague, N.Y. She was the loving mother of Georgia Carroll Vaughan and her husband, David of Camden, Del., and Patricia Ann Dickerson and her husband, Ron of Mount Holly.; cherished grandmother of Michele and her husband, David Jones, Victoria and her husband, Scott Windsor, Ronnie and his wife, Georgianna Dickerson, and Scott Dickerson; great-grandmother of Evan Moser, Zachary Jones, Zachary and Joshua Windsor, and Elijah Dickerson.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, at the Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lumberton. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 12 p.m. until time of service.
