Norma G. Stadt, 90 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home. Norma was born August 28, 1926 in Wyoming, MI the daughter of Wesley and Effie (Stevens) Crips. She graduated from Lee High School and Western Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Home Economics. She taught Home Economics at Grand Rapids Public Schools for 17 ½ years. Norma was a member of Blythefield Hills Baptist Church and loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. She enjoyed flowers, camping, birds, art, poems, family get togethers and staying home. Surviving are her loving husband, Warren, whom she married on December 8, 1944; children, Joan (Larry) Lodewyk, William (Sandy) Stadt, David (Karen) Stadt, Richard (Lori) Stadt; 11 grandchildren, Jeff Stadt, Dan Stadt, Kally Stehouwer, Connie Saylor, Karin Hoekstra, Kenneth Lodewyk, Rick Junior Stadt, Matthew Stadt, Joshua Stadt, Abby Stadt, Heather Stadt; 22 great grandchildren; expecting soon 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Miller, Ruth (Bob) Gillette. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Beulah Paauwe and Lola Conner.
