Margaret was born December 5, 1919, daughter of John A. and Olive B. (Gilbert) Campbell in Lisbon, North Dakota. As a child, she moved to New York City and in her late teens moved to Bemidji, Minnesota. She married Clifford T. Augdahl on June 25, 1941. They made their home in Brandon. Here she raised five children. She later worked at the Brandon Cafe. Margaret enjoyed gardening and being active with the Grace Lutheran Ladies Aide in Brandon. Margaret had an appreciation of music throughout her lifetime; she especially enjoyed playing the saxophone with her family. Walking was also one of Margaret's favorite pastimes. In recent years, she lived in Georgia and Iowa to be closer to her family.

Margaret died March 11, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Home in Esterville, Iowa. She is survived by her sons: Clifford (Linda) Augdahl of Warner Robbins, GA; Michael (Robbie) Augdahl of Warner Robbins, GA; Robert (Judi) Augdahl of New Hartford, CT; daughters: Susan (Myron) Lund of Westminster, CA; Catherine (Kenneth) Molacek of Esterville, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother John "Jack" (Carol) Campbell of Bayfield, CO. Her husband Clifford preceded her in death.
A funeral service was held March 17, 2001 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon with Rev. Dennis Preston officiating. Interment was in Brandon Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matthew Molacek, Kenneth Shane Molacek, Jacob Molacek, Brian Clayton, Andrew Clayton and Michael Clayton. Arrangements with Anderson Funeral Home.
