BYRUM, Sr., George F., age 69 of 1400-12th Street, died Wednesday, April 15, 1981. He was born in Colorado and moved to this area at an early age. He was a well known logger from California to Alaska. He is survived by his sons, Richard Byrum of California; Donald in Saudia Arabia; Kevin in Utah; Robert Wiseman of Washington; George Byrum, Jr. & David of Bellingham; Kerry of Utah; 6 daughters; Delores Howard of Seattle; Lynne Buss, Candace Spady, Kristen Byrum, Denise Niemi, Diana Hahn, all of Bellingham; a brother, William of Oregon; a sister Viola Lovelace of Bellingham; a close friend, Rachel Hannah of Everson; 30 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 20, 2 pm in the Nooksack Cemetery. Family requests memorials to University of Washington Cancer Research Fund. Under the direction of Veroske, Jerns & LeVeck funeral Chapel. Visitation Saturday, 10-12 1-3, Sunday by appt.
