Final rites for Dr. Benjamin C. Byrnside, Oak Hill dentist, will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday in the Oak Hill Methodist Church of which he was a member, with the Rev. Tally Hanna in charge. Burial will be in High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
Dr. Byrnside died at 8 a.m. today In a Beckley hospital after a long illness.
Born at Byrnside, Lincoln County, he was a son of the late George and Ida Eggleton Byrnside. He was a member of the New River Dental Society, Oak Hill Rotary Club and White Oak County Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Harriet Bess Thompson Byrnside; a son, Capt. B. C. Byrnside Jr., stationed with the armed forces in Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister, Mrs. J. R. Young, St. Albans, and two grandchildren.
The body is at the Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill. (RNS)
