Jannette Fancher Byrket, 98, of Seymour, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, in Seymour.

Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in the Masonic Cemetery in Seymour with Jeff Lanningham officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home, Seymour, Texas.

Jannette Byrket was born Dec. 19, 1912, to Walter and Nettie Hayley Fancher in Baylor County. She married V.B. (Bunk) Byrket in Seymour on August 25, 1933.

The two were married for 67 years.

She was a full-time homemaker and for several years ran a day care from her home where she influenced the lives of many children.

She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church where she was involved in many activities including teaching for the 3 year old Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bunk Byrket on November 27, 2001; an infant son; an infant daughter; 1 great grandson, Timothy Simpson; her parents; 1 brother, Robert Fancher; 3 sisters, Waltra Byrket, and 2 as infants.

Survivors include one son, Eddy Byrket and wife, Edith of Seymour; three daughters, Roxie Lanningham and husband, Charles of Arlington; Wanda Whitson and Jo Petty and husband, Gale, all of Seymour; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Archer Funeral Home from 6:00 until 7:00, Thursday for visitation
