Hugh S. Byrd. 83 , died early Wednesday morning June 19, at his residence at Rout e 3, Berea .
He was a retired farmer, a native of Rockcastle County and had lived here most of his life.
Besides his wife , Sally Fields Byrd, he is survived by four sons, Buran, Charles, Hugh, Jr. and Cecil , all of Rout e " 3, Berea ; three daughters, Hazel Osborn and Mrs. Noreen Glonski ,both of Dayton , Ohio, and Mrs. Viola Bowlin of Lexington. , thirty-five grandchildren and several great grand - children.
Funeral service s were conducted at Fairview Baptist Church Friday , June 21 by Bro. Lawrence Prewitt , Burial w a s in the Fairview Cemetery .
