Larry Cecil Byerly, 75 of Columbus, Ohio died Monday, August 27, 2012 at ABACO Nursing Home. He was born July 31, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio. Larry is preceded in death by wife, Janice (Blessing) Byerly; parents, Cecil Byerly & Mary (Reece) Teeters and beloved step-father, Howard Chenault. He is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Valerie & Michael Wolfe of Columbus; brothers, Ron (Nancy) Byerly of Johnstown and Mickey Byerly of California; sister, Nancy Burwell of Johnstown; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Novielli of Reynoldsburg and Dottie (Frank) Castle of Ulysses, KY; special friend, Kathleen Walton and her family; nieces & nephews. Larry graduated from Olentangy High School, Delaware, Ohio. Veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Columbus Candy & Tobacco (formerly Hofstetter Brothers). Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 North High Street, Columbus. Rev. Jim Blankenship, officiating. Burial: Green Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
