Belle Platt Butler, widow of Matthew F. Butler, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Forney Long, Long Meadows, Thursday noon of complications, after an illness of a month, aged 93.
She was born and reared in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Michael H. and Eliza (Dannard) Platt. Her entire married life was spent in Stillwater, Minn. She came to Hagerstown after the death of her husband 10 years ago and had made her home with her daughter.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Stillwater.
Besides her daughter she is survived by a stepson, Ross R. Butler, Baltimore; 3 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The body was removed to the funeral home of A. K. Coffman where services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. J. Russell Butcher officiating; interment in Rest Haven Cemetery.
