WEBSTER CITY - Isabelle Brownfield, 86, of Webster City, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at the Hamilton Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Gina Spohnheimer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the memorial service.

Isabelle Maudine Butler, daughter of Oscar and Olive Kirchner Butler, was born August 12, 1922 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools. On January 11, 1947, she married George (Shorty) Brownfield at Omaha, NE. For many years, she was housekeeper and nanny for Linda and Joe Latella. Mr. Brownfield died November 6, 1996. She retired in 1996.

Mrs. Brownfield is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Ken Nelson of Duncombe; Jan and Dan Hilpipre of Fort Dodge; son, Lanny Brownfield of Webster City; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Brownfield and daughter, Sharon Interrante.

She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and a card club.
