FUNERAL OF CHRISTIAN MINISTER CONDUCTED
Suffolk, Feb. 19 - Funeral services for the Rev. Harrison H. Butler, for more than forty years in the ministry of the Christian Church, held this afternoon at the Suffolk Christian Church, were conducted by Rev. Dr. W.W. Staley, assisted by the Rev. H.S. Hardcastle, Rev. Dr. I.W. Johnson and Ministers of other denominations of the city.
The choir of the church sang "Day is Dying in the West," "Kissed by the Angel of Peace," and "Rock of Ages"
Active pallbearers were Dr. D.F. Griffin, Major W.T. Johnson, M.W. Joyner, J.R. Ellison, John M. Eley, E. F.Parker, of Cypress Chapel; John M. Butler, and Sam Pierce, of Norfolk.
The members of Suffolk Lodge of Masons were honorary pallbearers. The Masonic burial service was used at the grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
